Ireland’s first eco-distillery

Ahascragh Distillery was designed inside redundant mill buildings that had failed to find a new use for decades.

The distillery is a zero emissions process - all heat is re-used within the process and none ejected to the atmosphere. It is the first use of a high temperature heat pump in distilling.
